Workshops
I run different workshops throughout the year. Have a look at what's on offer!

2nd Wednesday of each month
Royal William Yard, Plymouth
6pm - 8pm
Ticket: £35
Sip & Sculpt
Sip & Sculpt is the perfect excuse to catch up, unwind, and try something new - no experience needed. Over 2 hours, you’ll enjoy a glass (or two!) of prosecco while getting hands-on with clay in a friendly, laid-back setting. You can sculpt whatever you like, or follow along with a selection of fun, inspiring pieces laid out to copy. Charlotte will be on hand throughout the session to show you simple techniques for shaping and working with clay, and to guide you on how to prepare your finished piece for the kiln. Come with friends or come solo! This workshop is all about creativity, laughter, and a feel-good night out. Spaces are limited so sign up now to avoid disappointment! What’s included? All sculpting tools and materials are provided, plus you’ll receive a drink on entry. Aprons are provided but wear clothes that you don’t mind getting clay dust on. If you love what you’ve made, there is an opportunity to fire and glaze your masterpiece for an additional fee.

3 Day Intensive Course
24th - 26th August 2026
Royal William Yard, Plymouth
10am - 4pm

3 Day Portrait Sculpture from Life
This 3 day intensive portrait course is a chance to slow down, focus, and learn to sculpt from life in a supportive, small group setting. What to expect: Over three inspiring days, you’ll be guided through the fundamentals of portrait sculpture, learning how the face is structured and how anatomy, proportion, and form work together to create a true likeness. Charlotte will break the process down into clear, manageable steps, helping you move from simplified forms to more detailed features at a comfortable pace. Working from a live model, you’ll learn how to see differently, improve your observation skills, and translate what you see into clay. Whether you are returning to creativity after a break or looking to deepen existing skills, this course offers focused teaching, encouragement, and time to really immerse yourself in the process. You’ll leave with a strong foundation in portrait sculpture, a finished piece to be proud of, and a real sense of achievement! What’s included? All sculpting tools and materials. Assorted refreshments to keep you going! Aprons are provided but wear clothes that you don’t mind getting clay dust on. Please note that for this workshop to run, a minimum of 3 participants is required. You will be fully refunded should the workshop be cancelled.
